HCP Name
Upon first reference, the title Health Communication Partnership should be spelled out and followed by HCP in parentheses. Thereafter, the HCP abbreviation can be used alone.
In meetings, please introduce the project using "Health Communication Partnership." Afterwards, you may refer to it using the HCP abbreviation. You may mention your organization as an HCP partner if you are working on an HCP project - don't just say you are with CCP, AED, the Alliance, etc. It will take time for HCP to be known in the field and it is everyone's job to make sure HCP's name gets out there as a leader in global health communication.
HCP Boilerplate
Here is a quick description of HCP for use in written documents:
The Health Communication Partnership (HCP) links six leading institutions together to accomplish its goal of strengthening public health in the developing world through strategic communication programs. HCP is led by Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health/Center for Communication Programs in partnership with the Academy for Educational Development, Save the Children, the International HIV/AIDS Alliance, and Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine.

HCP Logo
The HCP logo was designed to be used in a variety of formats. In documents such as fact sheets, please follow the format of the HCP fact sheet.
There are three acceptable color variations of the logo that are listed in the figure below. The version of the logo that appears on HCP's corporate stationary and business cards uses the two-color version of the logo that appears at the far left of the figure. This combination consists of PMS 286-blue and PMS 405-gray on a white or light background.
When using the one or two-color version, the background should be white or a very light solid color. Never place the one-or two-color variations on a medium- or dark-colored background because it will diminish the legibility of the logo. The one color version of the logo is not restricted to any specific color but the color must provide a noticeable contrast to whatever background color is being used.
When using the reverse version of the logo, the background can be a dark solid color. Placing the reverse version of the logo on a dark solid color or a patterned or photographic background is acceptable as long it is sufficiently dark. The logo's legibility will be reduced if placed on a mid-to-lighter-toned background.
The logo should be used at a minimum size of 1.5" whenever possible to retain its legibility.
Various approved logo files (Tiff format) are available for download (Black & White, Blue & White, Two Color). If you need a different format or something larger, please email the .
